Golden Lens Photography Photo Tour series is currently working on another e-book titled " Agate Bay on Lake Superior's", and hopes to have it ready for your enjoyment in the fall of 2012.
This book will provide a yearlong photo journal of seasonal images pertaining to the north shore of Lake Superior's Agate Bay.
Turn lakeside off Highway 61 onto Waterfront Drive and follow it straight down to the ore docks and break wall. Birds, boats, butterflies, lighthouses, trains, hiking trails, tug boats, parks and much more can be seen on this route. This drive will take you past the home of 3M, the beautiful Lake County courthouse, an Andrew Carnegie Library, the first Minnesota iron ore train, a railway depot and museum and a band shell which provides concerts every Thursday evening in the summer. This little short drive provides something for everyone and not just for taking picture, and no matter what the season is: spring, summer, fall or winter.
